Anne Thurston (“A.T.”) Debnam joined The Mueller Law Firm in November 2010 after practicing law in Greensboro following graduation from Elon University School of Law in 2009.  A.T. is a proud member of the Charter Class of Elon University School of Law. 

During law school, A.T. discovered her passion for family law while participating in Elon University School of Law’s first Legal Aid Domestic Relations Clinic. She was the recipient of the 2009 Outstanding Family Law Student Award from the North Carolina Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

A.T. brings a wealth of experience to the practice of family law. In addition to being a member of one of Wake County’s finest legal families with deep roots in the Zebulon community, A.T. enjoyed a successful property management career for over seven years after receiving her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 1998. 

 A.T. is a member of the North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations, and the Family Law Section of the N.C. Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina, the state of Texas and the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. A.T. became a Board-
Certified Family Law Specialist in the state of North Carolina in November 2014.  A.T. was selected to the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Super Lawyers Rising Stars List.  Only 2.5% of lawyers in the state are selected to receive the honor of being selected to the Rising Stars List.  In 2018, A.T. became a certified family financial mediator through the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. 
A.T. is a native of Zebulon, North Carolina. She enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
